The very first wedding that I shot fully on my own was back in 2021, October. Since then, I’ve been honored and lucky enough to have gotten 4 referrals just from that one wedding alone! Meaning that makes A&S the 5th couple I’ve shot within the same friend group. It’s funny because I’ve learnt so much from each couple, about their lives, jobs, culture, difficulties their facing, new successes they have, so when it came to shooting with A&S, it really felt like I was already their friend, and I was able to have conservations about the past 4 couples like I’m part of their friend group as well, to the point where I was able to share things that perhaps they didn’t even know about their friends! I guess this is why I find these shoots so precious, because whether it be 2 hrs, 5 hrs, or 8 hrs, on top of getting pretty photos shot, I also get to connect with you guys on a personal level! With these few couples coming from the Kazakh community, and also shooting couples from literally all around the world with different cultural backgrounds, I find it so fascinating and eye opening to learn about different wedding traditions and cultural backstories from around the world! Forever looking forward to meeting more of you guys and learning what you guys are like on a personal level 💖
