Everything about this shoot was so perfect. The sky that decided to clear up. The light breeze that came every once in a while. The little picnic set up that they prepared. The chocolate croissant. The Polaroid bookmark. The love letters that they wrote and read to each other. Most importantly, them. They were so comfortable with each other, and their love is honestly so so pure. I didn’t listen to their letters being read to each other, but was rather just observing their faces and body language whilst taking photos from the side, and that was enough to get not just her teary eyed, but me as well. Cute moments happen all the time, but it’s really so rare that I’m being fully let into such a vulnerable and personal space, and I feel so so honored to have captured a small part of their love story.
